I'm considering running a supers game set in the DC Universe. The players would be heroic outcasts banding together to stop a wave of new criminals in Gotham in the year 2050. The show Batman Beyond would be a big influence on the backdrop of the game. The system would be second edition DC Heroes. I'd be looking for 3-4 players and they don't necessarily need previous experience with the system. They just need to have a like/love for DC stuff.

I could get on board with this.  In regards to the system, I know nothing about it... but I love the DC universe and frankly, Batman Beyond was a really well done show.  I liked the idea and the feel behind it.  :)

My only fear about starting up a new game is that I'm currently in a groove as a GM for the first time in...ever! I love my SW game and the players. I would only hope another game would be just like it.

no one said you have to run another one right now.  personally I say keep your focus on the one you're running and when you find you can keep your stride going then think about branching out.  Just keep your ideas coming and keep notes on them so that when you are ready you will likely have a very polished and set-up package to present that's as ready to go as you are  :)

Actually, Trista, it's good that I face my fears. I almost gave up on the other game because of some problems and came back to it. The guys gave me a second chance and here we are...almost 600 posts into the game. I can see us going to 6,000.

The other option I was open to would be GMing a Marvel Super Heroes game in an alternate universe where Joe Quesada didn't screw everything up.
